Dr. Moira Martin is a board certified, licensed doctor of chiropractic who specializes in the treatment of spinal and extremity sports injury along with repetitive strain conditions. She graduated Cum Laude from Logan College of Chiropractic. While at Logan she attended extensive postgraduate courses in adjusting, soft tissue work, acupuncture, dry needling, and rehabilitation all to complement her chiropractic studies and help better serve her patients.
Dr. Martin believes in the ability to live pain free for a better quality of life while maximizing human performance and minimizing injury. She uses a comprehensive approach taking care to listen to individual concerns and provide patients with customized solutions and treatment plans. She employs a “test, treat, re-test” model which assures appropriate progress is being achieved within each visit. Through functional movement assessment, chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue treatment, and dynamic neuromuscular stabilization (DNS) Dr. Martin is able to create a multifaceted approach to treat the true origin of symptoms and not just the site of pain. Her goal is to empower patients to take control of their own health and not become dependent on care.
When not treating patients Dr. Martin enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, swimming, and exploring her new home in the Brookfield area. To read her full bio, please click on her image.
