Dr. Shiels Honored Among Notable Milwaukee Alumni

 

The inaugural edition of the BizTimes Notable Alumni feature includes Dr. Zach Shiels, the founder and owner of Elite Sport & Spine. This article highlights accomplished professionals in the Southeastern Wisconsin region, as well as the colleges and universities that attract and develop that talent. Dr. Shiels attended Wisconsin Lutheran College for his undergraduate degree, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology Pre-Medicine. After graduating from WLC in 2009, Dr. Shiels attended Palmer College of Chiropractic where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree.

He and his wife Beth opened Elite Sport & Spine in March of 2014. They strive to provide patient-centered, evidence-informed chiropractic, manual therapy, and movement-based treatments so pain never prevents their patients from achieving goals in sport or in life. “It’s humbling to be included in the same category with such a talented and successful group of business leaders from around Southeastern Wisconsin,” said Dr. Shiels. “I think it also really highlights the excellent education students receive at Wisconsin Lutheran College to have three alumni from such a small, Christian college included in this short list.”
