We are excited to be the presenting sponsor of the Warrior 5k…through the park this weekend, November 5th. If you are looking for a fun trail run or cross country race, this event is highly recommended! Dr. Shiels will be at the event providing free injury assessment and soft tissue treatments for the participants.

The course winds through beautiful Greenfield Park, offering both wooded trails as well as open grass fields. The Greenfield Park cross country course is a familiar course for many local runners, as it is the home for both West Allis Hale High School and Wisconsin Lutheran College cross country teams. It was the site of the 2014 Wisconsin Private College Championships and the 2010, 2013 and 2016 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championships.

The Warrior 5K…through the park is designed to be a unique opportunity for all running enthusiasts, offering the competitive feel of a cross country race in late fall. You can sign up as an individual or find some friends and sign up in teams of four to earn team awards! Run, walk, jog, or “race.” All are welcome! This event serves as a fundraiser and community outreach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College cross country teams, and a portion of the proceeds benefit Special Olympics.
